Hey, does anyone out there know Roy Coniam? He was my great uncle and I am looking for any information people can give me on him. He served on the Grapple during World War II and Korea. Any information you could give me would be extremely helpful. Thank you and thank you for serving our country.

Looking to contact any crew from the 1966 to 1970 years. I am living in Muncie, IN and my phone is 765 284 0941. Are there any B2 engineers or Divers from these years? "Lover, fighter, and deep sea diver; smoke, choke, and chew rope; been around the world thirteen times, made love to twenty-six nationalities..." Hope to hear from shipmates.

My dad served aboard the Grapple in WWII. Was in Iwo Jima, Okinawa, did a few transists across during the war. Even has a story about a kamakazi attack at Iwo. Evidently the CO was a civilian shore repair company owner and was named Commodore for the war effort and put on the Grapple. He is 93 and I suppose not to many his age still around. Are there any reunions coming up?

Steve, please email me back if you see this! Stan Cook has put together a website for us to track our health as we seem to have a number of shipmates dealing with Orange Exposure. We've lost 7 to exposure as well. Or go to the website below, websitesbycook.com/grappleagentorange/ Rick Stoehr, SFM3 aboard '68-'71.
